GainMeal AI is a nutrition and fitness app designed to help users track meals, calories, macros, water, steps, reminders, recipes, shopping lists, and daily progress.

Information We Process

Food Photos When you use the Food Scanner feature, the selected food photo may be sent to our secure backend and OpenAI for AI nutrition analysis. This is used to estimate calories, protein, fat, carbs, ingredients, and meal information.

Nutrition Data Meal names, calories, protein, fat, carbs, water intake, daily history, goals, preferences, and language settings may be stored locally on your device to provide app functionality.

Apple Health Data With your permission, GainMeal AI reads your daily step count from Apple Health to show activity progress. Step data is used only for app functionality.

AI Estimates Food scan results, calories, macros, ingredients, and nutrition recommendations are estimates only. Results may be inaccurate and can be edited before saving. GainMeal AI does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
